Excerpts from some current projects. La Cruzada, the novel I am working on, is in its final stages of editing, and a new book of poems is emerging, a book that takes a close look at Mary, who has had so many names, Mary of Mercy, La Virgen, Our Lady of the Lake, St. Mary, and many others. With so many identities and travels, I want to get to know her better, and writing poetry about her is the best way I can do that.
